Real reason to hire a personal trainer

As A Personal Trainer

As a Personal Trainer, I have been hired for various reasons. Some of those reasons have been to devise a workout plan so they can lose weight or gain weight, help with injury management and recovery, getting them back to being mobile after being immobile for a long time, etc. There are lots of reasons to hire a Personal Trainer but the number one reason and the most shared reason amongst most of my clients have been accountability.

Accountability

Accountability is the real reason anyone hires a Personal Trainer. Let’s face it. You can find a workout plan, even a really good one, on the internet for free. You don’t really need to hire a Personal Trainer for that. You need a Personal Trainer to give a shit. To care about you even when you don’t care about yourself very much. In fact especially when you’re not caring that much about yourself. And you could say that your husband and wife should be the source of your support, not a Personal Trainer. But honestly good luck with that. Spouses are usually really good at supporting you in the beginning but as you go along and lose more weight or start looking good, especially to the opposite sex, they just don’t seem to be as supportive anymore. This is very common amongst my clients. But a Personal Trainer? They are supportive of your goals all the time. They are one hundred percent invested in your success. And that never goes away. We are not fickle.

The Real Reason

We as Personal Trainers support your success and fitness goals. We will call you if you don’t show up. We will text you to make sure you’re following the program when we can’t be there physically with you. And we will send you meal and nutrition ideas to help with your goals. We will always be there for you.

So now you have the real reason people hire Personal Trainers. Simply put, you need someone to be there for you. To be your cheerleader. To hold you accountable. Period.
